In its publisher's binding of dark green cardboard and buckram, smooth spine with gilt, corners of the covers blind-stamped with a flower.
Corners slightly bumped, headcaps solid, slight rubbing on the covers.
Upper edge gilt (the only one visible in a library when the book is stored upright). Inside sound, slightly foxed (a classic of 19th century paper).
The book is easy to handle, despite a slight detachment of the first quire due to its use, which however is still sewn to the entirety of the quires. Slight binding defects from use. ''Orchard'' style paper.
Completely collated: XXI + 224 pages (Volume I) / V + 218 pages (Volume II, table at the end included).
