Based in Lyon, Boris Matussière is a self-taught painter who finds his inspiration in the contrast between the tranquility and the bustle of the city. He is classified as both an abstract and figurative painter, where he masters acrylic paint with his brushes as much as his fingers. The colors burst forth in his paintings, which reflect the city's agitation, in intense multicolored graffiti with a teeming narrative whose construction, apparently anarchic, owes nothing to chance. The artist also combines pencil and watercolor. His universe is a journey between earthly madness and the depth of space.
