Vincent MANAGO (1880-1936) Painter born in Italy, naturalized French, student of Jean-Paul Laurens at the Académie Julian. He traveled to North Africa, received several private commissions and produced paintings for private residences in Tunis and Algiers. At the Universal Colonial Exhibition of 1931, he exhibited landscapes of North Africa and Provence. He also exhibited at the Marseille fair. His works are notably preserved at the Cantini Museum in Marseille and at the Baron Martin Museum in Gray, in Haute-Saône. Beautiful painting, very colorful and luminous, reinforcing strips were added between the canvas and the frame to make the canvas stretched for better conservation.
