Regency Period Cabaret Table.
A beautiful writing table with a cabaret-shaped top. Made of lacquered wood, it opens with a side drawer; it rests on four ogee-shaped crosspieces and four legs ending in a bronze shoe. While the cabaret-shaped moldings and the leather are old, the top was once redone. Regency period. First half of the eighteenth century.
