"Japanese Bronze By Hiroyuki Watanabe 渡辺弘行 – Seated Nude Woman"
Hiroyuki WATANABE (渡辺弘行, 1906–1988), Kagawa Prefecture, graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts (now Tokyo University of the Arts) and studied under Fumio Asakura, "the Rodin of Japan." He frequently participated in the Nichiten Exhibition and won several awards. A bronze statue "Hair" from 1954 is on display in Shinjuku Central Park, Shinjuku, Tokyo.
