Large carved and molded walnut sofa. Large medallion backrest with molded surround and knotted ribbon. Armrests with cuffs, fluted and rudentée console supports. Triple-evolution seat, curved sides. Crosspieces with knotted ribbon reserves, disc thimbles. Fluted and rudentée legs, webbed seat. Fabric upholstery (attached with staples). Stamped by François-Noël Geny (1731-1804). Circa 1780.
