"Camille Fauré Limoges Enamel Vase With Geometric Decoration C.1930. Marty, Bonnaud, Sarlandie "
I re-positioned this ad because I approached an expert and former worker of Camille Fauré to have period rings put back and to have this vase appraised. So the rings are ok, in period silver metal, and the expert told me that this vase had been made by Lucie Dadat between 1930 and 1950, one of the 5 best workers of Camille Fauré. So superb vase by Camille Fauré in Limoges in the form of a soliflore typical of Fauré, with a magnificent stylized Art Deco and cubist decoration, with repeated fans in very high relief and translucent white enamel with blue highlights, then geometric shapes in shades of red, orange and black on silver flakes. Signed and located inside the neck. Vase in good condition, I just note a small rework on the top of the vase, but superbly done on a small surface ( 1cmx0.5cm), almost imperceptible (see photos 6 and 8) and a slight crack in the material, that's all. Height: 10cmCamille Fauré has an international reputation; there are several works on this Limoges artist, the most important of which is forthcoming and in preparation. The rating of his vases is quite high with peaks of up to 15 or even 20,000€He is one of the most famous Limoges enamelers with Sarlandie, Marty, Bonnaud and Jouhaud.
