Contemporary Tapestry By René Perrot
Aubusson tapestry ‘Fauconnerie’ based on the original composition by René PERROT. PINTON workshop Tapestry in perfect condition. The lighting gives the impression of a darker area at the top right of the overall view. His tapestries adorn our embassies and tapestry enthusiasts around the world. René Perrot first worked as a poster artist, engraver and painter before creating cartoons across the French countryside during the Second World War to document a peasant life that was dying out. His tapestries, which became his favourite art form in the early 1950s, focus on nature. Using wool and cotton, he wove a veritable symphony of colours that exalted trees and flowers, where butterflies and birds flourished. Last major exhibition at the MUCEM Marseille in 2023 Our tapestries can be presented to you at your home in the Provence Languedoc and Paris regions of France, with no obligation.
