Lithophane Lantern In Biscuit Plates Signed Ppm From The 19th Century
Artist: P. P. M.
A brass lantern...
With red glass plates...
And four bisque plates...
Of four different decorations...
Lithophanes...
From the middle of the 19th century...
Square in shape with rounded corners...
It is missing a small ball of foot...
The hooks have been rectified...
And I changed the sandblasted glass plate at the bottom...
Otherwise in very good condition...
All the bisque plates are signed "PPM ...
FRENCH origin...
I have not yet installed the electrical system but it will be done in a while...
A very beautiful object...
For information, usually it is just a small plate which serves as a light shield...
Weight ... 1 kilo 053 gr
