Iran: Two Panels From The Qujar Period
Persia (Iran), late 19th century: a pair of oils on panels decorated with a radiant face on a luxuriant background of stylized flowers and roses. Missing parts, notably in the painting at the bottom of one of the panels as can be seen in the photo as well as some alterations to the varnish. The panels are encased and preserved in a wooden frame. Dimensions: - of one: 51 x 84.5 x 5 centimeters. - of the other: 50.5 x 85.5 x 5 centimeters
