Pair of walnut chairs from the Napoleon III period. The finesse of the work reveals the know-how of the carpenters. The saber-shaped rear base is enhanced by the balance of the backrest. This convex backrest includes three framed bars. The front base is finished in a router shape. The rings of the uprights emphasize the balance of the twisted parts. The sober and light bars soften the lines even more! The trapezoidal seat is reupholstered in horsehair and thus enhanced by the scalloped front part.
