Japanese Nô Theater Mask
We present this Japanese NOH theater mask from the EDO period 1663/1868. This one is from the 19th century, probably around 1830/1850. These masks are made of HINOKI wood (Japanese cypress). This one is extraordinarily expressive with its brick-colored glass eyes. In good condition but has been retouched by a professional in a few places where there was some lacquer missing. (E25)
