He exhibited from 1902. After spending 5 years in North America, he devoted himself to landscapes with no other master than nature. His submissions to the Indépendants were appreciated, from 1910 and in 1911 with Le moulin de Valmont. The artist also took part in the Salons of the French School in 1909, 1910 and 1911, as well as those of the International Union of Fine Arts and Letters in 1910 and 1911. Member of the Rainbow Committee in 1917-1920, and of the Painters of Armor in 1919-1921, he held two solo exhibitions at the Manuel Gallery in 1920. In 1919, the city of Paris purchased a seascape from him (Côte sauvage à Quibron). Vannes Museum and Montmorillon Museum. In 1919 and 1922, he made two study trips to Italy and Tunisia. Exhibited in 1926 at the Indépendants. Henri-Pierre Lejeune organizes by subscription, each year, a study trip in France and abroad alternately. After each trip, his studies were dispersed to private collections of amateurs, who participated in this subscription. He died in 1961.
