Large Cooling Bucket, Regency-louis XV, Metal Formerly Silver-plated

Large cooling bucket, French Regence-Louis XV, metal formerly mercury silver-plated.
Beautiful piece , bronze and brass ; this period piece clearly shows its authenticity: we can distinguish thanks to some wear, the lateral brazed seam construction of body, joined to the circular seam of bottom.
Pot-bellied Medici shape, resting on a round stepped foot, decorated of radiating gadroons, Pot-bellied body, surrounded by a strong fillet, then ringed of 4 fillets, wide flared border enriched with its crown of gadroons. Two strong handles, knotted. Condition: This bucket has been used, has suffered and shows the scars of old repairs, (red arrows), on upper edge, barely visible, and also a small blocked hole in foot. Therefore, we are sure that exterior silvering has been redone, it seems of good quality.
Bottom of bucket, on the other hand, shows the old mercury plating...
