Antoine Durenne was a French 19th century sculptor who was born in 1822 and well known for his cast iron garden pieces, last picture is from the book ‘L’Âge de la Fonte’ where the model is showed on the left
This beautiful statue is marked below at the round base, dating from the mid 19th century and in very good condition
