"Antique Sheet In Pure Linen Thread, Rt Monogram Under Count's Crown, 19th Century Period, 240x350"
Magnificent antique sheet in pure white glazed linen yarn, with a very tight weave, typical of prestigious summer sheets. This sheet is distinguished by its exceptional finesse, both to the touch and to the eye, and by its generous dimensions: 352 cm x 240 cm. It is decorated with a remarkable hand-embroidered monogram “RT”, entwined with wheat ear motifs, surmounted by a count’s crown with 9 pearls, which attests to its aristocratic origin. The entire monogram and crown measure 23.5 cm wide by 16.5 cm high. A fine daylight discreetly underlines the entire width of the sheet, and the hem is sewn by hand, proof of the care taken with this piece. The sheet weighs 1.7 kg, which testifies to the quality of the linen used. Condition Very good overall condition. Please note: three small imperfections in the form of discreet mini holes, which do not affect the elegance or use of this sheet.
