Pocket watch for the Chinese market with rare Duplex escapement.
19th century.
The duplex escapement uses a single exhaust wheel with radial and perpendicular teeth. The radial teeth, in the resting position, are in contact with a notch on the axis of the balance, while the perpendicular teeth imprint the pulse to the balance blade, causing its oscillation.
The watch is equipped with a beautiful golden movement entirely engraved with blue screws and malt cross,.

White enamel dial with roman numerals.
Original hands with centre seconds.
Full Hunter silver case with working opening button.
The case is finely engraved on both sides.
Diameter 49 mm
Equipped with a key for charging and adjustment.
