Very beautiful cabinet or Standing Man in solid walnut from the Louis XIII period, 17th century. Composed of two superimposed parts, our piece of furniture opens on the front with two leaves separated by a large drawer fitted with two wrought iron pendants. The uprights, as well as the crosspieces, are decorated with seven twisted half-columns in applique. Two consoles, each carved with a heart, frame the drawer. Each door is carved with four triangles in each of the angles as well as a large central panel, all with heavily molded contours. The two sides of our piece of furniture are also worked in symmetry with the front and have the same patterns and moldings. Very beautiful piece of furniture, rare on the market due to its small dimensions.
