Louis-Jacques COUET, Transition Period Marquetry Salon TableLouis XV Louis XVI, Circa 1770Superb Small Salon Table Marquetry Rosewood and Rosewood, Transition Period Louis XV Louis XVI, Resting on Cambered Legs Ending in Gilt Bronze Sabots.This Table Curved All Sides, with Geometric Cube Marquetry Decor, Opens with Two Drawers on the Front. It is Garnished with a Breccia d'Aleppo Marble Top, Surrounded by a Gilt Bronze Ingot Mold. Its Curved Uprights. Beautiful Gilt Bronze Ornamentation, Such as Sabots, Ingot Mold, Lock Entrances. Has its Key. Bears the COUET Stamp. Beautifully crafted furniture with simple and refined lines, stamped by the Master Cabinetmaker, Louis-Jacques COUET and stamped with the JME, Hallmark of the Jurandes. This small table combines practical utility with its small storage spaces. You can also display art objects, collectibles, and lighting.
