[United Kingdom], 19th century, Silver-plated metal spyglass, body covered in black leather, in its shagreen case, lid with medallion, inside of the lid gilded. Attractive single-draw spyglass, probably of English origin, in a precious case whose cap is surmounted by a Wedgwood porcelain medallion decorated with an ephebe carrying a fruit. Press-stud closure. Traces of wear on the spyglass.
