Bronze water scoop / ladle - 18th or 19th century. It was positioned suspended in the middle of the table and was used to pour water into glasses. The handle is mobile and connected to a suspension ring by a riveted hook. Rotation possible in any direction. The pouring heads are decorated with animal heads. The handle attachments are human heads as for the old models of the 16th and 17th centuries. These utilitarian objects were often made with the remains of molten bronze during the casting of bells (Eastern France, Jura, Haute Saone). Width 29 cm, total height 30 cm, diameter at the opening 14 cm
