Glazed ceramic vase with a swollen body and narrow neck, decorated with an incised geometric motif glazed in black, olive green, and white. The interior is glazed in bright yellow. The design, structured in triangles and rhythmic lines, reflects the abstract and graphic aesthetic of ceramic design from the 1950s–60s. Signed Jean Laforgue under the base, a 20th-century ceramist whose work is part of the post-war revival of French ceramics, alongside productions from Vallauris and the Basque Coast.
