"Large Earthenware Pharmacy Jar"
Very large THERIACA pharmacy pot in earthenware. Presentation piece. Atypical in its size, 74 cm high and 48 cm wide. It is presented in a large half-belly with a fluted lid and base, above the pedestal. Its back is flat. Two vipers form the handles. These were part of the composition of this elixir, which could be composed of 50 plants and venoms. For decoration, a simple leafy ribbon. The pedestal is broken and glued back together.
