"Indian Miniature Woman And Child "
Indian miniature representing a woman in a saffron yellow dress and a child with a bonnet. This object, in its original frame, comes from the decoration store "Kirn and Wingate" established in Paris in 1956 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The frame is very slightly damaged in the lower left corner. This small object is a witness to a time when the apartments in the beautiful neighborhoods were furnished in an English style, mahogany furniture, chesterfield sofa and chippendale dining room, on the walls, floral fabrics by Braquenié.
