Hammered Cast Iron Subject "the Dancer" By Nicolas De Wael For Fondica 1990
In the 1990s, Nicolas de Wael collaborated with the art publishing house Fondica to create decorative objects. His creations include lamps and sculptures depicting stylized human figures, often female, with raised arms, and accessories such as bracelets or necklaces. These works are characterized by a hammered texture and often hammered. The sculpture I am presenting to you is not gilded, which makes it rare. Nicolas de Wael has exhibited his works in Alsace, notably in Colmar at the Galerie Murmure, and has collaborated with Emaux de Longw. The sculpture is in very good condition and measures H 36 cm.
