Rare portfolio table in solid walnut, molded and carved. It has a swivel top with rounded cutouts, decorated with a marquetry of a chessboard and clover leaves. (Mahogany and Japanese ash for the chessboard, Macassar ebony and amaranth on a walnut background around the edge) It rests on four tapered and ribbed trapezoidal legs.
