A student at the Rennes School of Fine Arts, Jacques Jullien painted Breton subjects. Appointed professor of drawing in Lesneven in 1917, he exhibited gouaches and prints from the 1920s in several galleries: Louis Carré in Rennes and in Paris, Galerie Prouté.
