Large post-impressionist oil painting by Edmond Champon, depicting a group of lacemakers from the Bigouden region, installed behind the Notre-Dame des Croix chapel (Croaziou chapel) in the commune of Loctudy, south Finistère, Brittany. He was a student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and exhibited in the main official Parisian salons between 1902 and 1940.
