"André Dauchez, Groasken Cove, Brittany, 1900"
A beautiful oil on canvas by the artist André Dauchez, depicting the Groasken cove, also known as the Letty cove, behind Bénodet in southern Finistère. This work, dating from 1900, was exhibited at the Salon de la Société Nouvelle in Paris. The artist later donated the painting to a lottery benefiting the Boers in The Hague (Netherlands).
