"The Franc Tireur / Anti-resistance Game Around 1941-43"
Very rare anti-resistance toy in painted tin, circa 1941-43. The profile of the Franc-Tireur must be reversed using tokens..... to reveal the French flag. Collaborationist toys and games are very rare. The name of this game refers to the French resistance. 20 cm long, with the rules of the game. It is very interesting to see that this game was transformed into an anti-Nazi game in the immediate post-war period. The profile of Adolph HITLER then replaces that of the resistance fighter. Toys and games that have represented Hitler are very rare. Given the similarities in terms of production, it seems that it was a single publisher who was behind both games. Copy A: so that free France triumphs - flag raised! –, Hitler must be defeated. Copy B: for France (Pétainist) to triumph – same symbol of the flag – the defeat of communism – represented by the FTP resistance – is necessary. ATTENTION ONLY THE ANTI-RESISTANCE COPY IS FOR SALE (the first 6 photos)
