"Fantastic Shadows 1830 Lepoittevin"
Beautiful engraving by Eugène Lepoittevin depicting various scenes of devilry and phantasmagoria in Chinese shadows. One of the scenes shows a devil presenting his optical box to a child held in his mother's arms. In its frame: 47.5 x 37.5 cm. The photos were taken through the glass, which explains a slight pallor and blur that do not exist in reality.
