"Antique Hand-embroidered Canvas"
19th-century embroidery with a repeating pattern at regular intervals, probably with a printed design on the fabric beneath the embroidery serving as a guide.The background is hand-stitched, the floral decorations are embroidered in long stitch.
It is a fragment, albeit a large one, 86x73 centimeters, of an embroidery that was certainly more extensive.
In excellent condition.
Framed and protected by glass.
