- Polychrome pot with a bulging shape on a pedestal in Blois earthenware signed Joseph Tortat 1843-1915.- Decorated with two intertwined winged chimeras on a black background with four cartouches with a rich decoration of arabesques, foliage and flowers.- Handle of the pot representing a decoration of bearded mascarons, interior of the pot in white color, presence of a firing crack inside the pot but not detracting from the quality of the piece and the decoration see photo.- Border of the top of the pot in yellow color with decoration of black dot alternating two brown lines and black border on the interior edge of the pot.- Signed with the stamp of the Joseph Tortat factory of a crown and a fleur-de-lis in a coat of arms and the mention J.Tortat Blois in black underglaze and the numbers 7 and 6 on either side of the coat of arms corresponding to the year 1876 date of manufacture of the cache-pot.- Period beginning of the 4th quarter of the 19th century dated 1876.
