Lazar Volovick (1902-1977) is a painter of Russian origin, naturalized French, known for his work marked by expressionism and a strong human sensitivity. Arriving in France in the 1920s, he settled in Paris, where he frequented the artistic circles of Montparnasse. Volovick developed a personal style mixing intense colors and powerful strokes, often focused on the human figure, scenes of daily life and portraits.
