Antique Nepalese ritual staff - Nepal, probably 1st half of the 20th century or earlier. Wood with a black patina and crusty in places. Staff carved at the top with four anthropomorphic representations (probably two females and two males) and two animals (possibly a naga snake). Similar to a sacrificial hand staff sold at auction on 11/05/2019 by Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr (Paris), Josette and Théo Schulmann Collection. Lot number 35.
