Important clock in black marble and patinated and gilded bronze. Two antique women reading. Sheath with sphinxes, laurel branches and fire pot. Dial with Roman numerals signed Antony Bailly in Lyon. Entablature with inverted cavetto, friezes of gilded bronze eggs. Leather with olive branches, Greek feet and volutes. Signed Mathurin Moreau, mention Gold Medal Salon 1869. Mechanism to be revised.
