"Louis XVI Solid Mahogany Dining Table With Mahogany Extension - Early 19th Century"
Large dining room table in blond mahogany and mahogany veneer, antique Louis XVI style work, from the early 19th century. Beautiful, high-quality model with spindle legs. The legs and top are made of solid mahogany, not veneer, and the sliding trolley is made of oak, all evidence of ancient manufacture, late 18th or early 19th century, and a guarantee of quality for a table. Round in shape when closed, the folding leaves allow it to be stored against a wall. Open in maximum configuration, it extends nearly 3.2m and can thus accommodate 10 or 12 people. Our table will be supplied with 1 solid mahogany extension, the others are very simply available to order from our cabinetmaker. Our table is in good condition. The french polish has been revived by our cabinetmaker; it is blond mahogany in color, slightly sunned, evenly for the 4 corners. There are still some micro scratches, but the whole remains very beautiful and impressive in its quality. No accidents or missing parts. NB: Our table is a little smaller than a standard table, which makes it particularly suitable for apartment use. It is not too wide, but can still accommodate 10 or 12 people when fully open. Width: 126.5cm Minimum length when the table is closed: 126cm Length with the extension provided: 155cm Maximum open length: 320cm
