Hanging from the "neck" of the bottles is an English sterling silver tag engraved with the name of a liquor: Brandy for one, Scotch for the other.
This luxurious liquor set dates back to the mid-20th century. It has been used and presents some flaws: the round tray is quite dull, the stoppers have tiny chips along the inner edge (the ball is perfectly intact), and one of the bottle openings has chips highlighted in the last photo.
