Important wall clock with Martin varnish decoration of polychrome flowers and butterflies on a green background with a pediment. Rich rocaille bronze ornamentation. White enamelled dial signed Ageron in Paris. François AGERON (born in Arbigny - died after 1783) received master in 1741, collaborated for the creation of his clocks with the best craftsmen, notably the cabinetmaker Balthazar Lieutaud and the founders Saint-Germain, Caffieri and Osmond.
