19th Century Empire Mahogany Gueridon Table
19th century Empire style pedestal table in mahogany, richly ornamented with gilded bronzes depicting eagles, crowns and imperial stars. The central tripod shaft rests on finely chiseled claw feet, all topped with a superb veined green marble top. A piece of character, with a strong neoclassical elegance, embodying all the rigor and majesty of the Empire style in its reinterpretation under the Second Empire.
