Rudolf Wittkampf, 1881-1961, German painter. Born in Munster (Westphalia), he was a student of Peter Janssen the Elder and Willy Spatz at the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts. He exhibited from 1906 in Düsseldorf where he set up his studio in 1910 in Venloer Straße in the Pempelfort district. Artist listed in Thieme-Becker (Dictionary of German Painters), Artprice, Artnet, etc...
