19th century Bone and natural fibres
Length: 10; Width: 3.5 cm
Composed of two pieces of carved cetacean bone, the shaft and beard are held together by woven plant fibre ligatures. The outer edge of the beard is decorated with a fine openwork serration over two-thirds of its length.
