Large ROUND pewter dish with a wide, plain edge called "à la cardinal", entirely forged.
Master's mark attributed to Jacques HENZELI, who became a master in 1663: crowned hammer / two stars / IH. In a second hypothesis, Jonas HUGUENOD, who became a master in 1677 is plausible.
Diameter: 44.2 cm.
NEUCHATEL, Last third of the 17th century


In excellent condition and of very good quality. Note on the reverse the facets of the very beautiful hammering work
