"Powder Flask - Rbi'a Del Baroud - Chtouka Region, Morocco - Brass - 19th Century "
Powder box. Chiseled and stamped brass. 19th century. Wear and tear, shocks. Body with the appearance of a round box. Plant decoration of striated foliage on one side, and stylized architecture on the other. The thickness is decorated with arches and volutes. Suspension ears in fleurons. Use: Accessory for flintlock rifles. Height with neck 17.2 cm. The Quai Branly Museum has a very similar example - Inventory number: 74.1960.4.101 (see photo at the end of the slideshow).
