Moral and political treatise against dueling, Jean de la Taille, poet, writer and moralist of the 16th century, denounces the social and political dangers of dueling. It is part of a post-Renaissance movement of reflection on legitimate violence and the laws of honor. The 1607 edition is particularly rare.
