Octave Van Cuyck (Ostend 1870-Tilff 1956)
Belgian painter and watercolorist. Around 1885, he studied at the Academy of Ostend. He became a member of the Artistic Circle of Ostend, founded in 1908. He painted landscapes, allegorical and symbolist scenes.
He is the author of decorative paintings in the SEO festival hall in Ostend and in that of Ons Achturenhuis (Langestraat/Sint-Niklaasstraat) also in Ostend.
Exhibited in 1910 at the 4th Salon of the Kursaal in Ostend.
