Object description :

"Baluster Vase Barbotine Five Lille Electroplating Art Nouveau By G.de Bruyn (1838-1916)"
Large baluster vase in earthenware treated with electroplating with bronze patina, original medal patina, in very good condition, from the Five-Lille factory. The interior earthenware is enameled cobalt blue and is covered on the outside, by electroplating, with a layer of copper with a bronze medal patina. The Art Nouveau style decoration is made up of different parts of the chestnut tree, leaves, shells, etc. This large vase, more than a hundred years old, Art Nouveau, is in excellent condition and has kept its original patina. It is one of the creations of Antoine Gustave DE BRUYN (1838-1916), descendant of a long line of earthenware potters, who settled in Five-Lille and created there, with the help of his entire family, an earthenware factory. The famous Five-Lille factory prospered by filing numerous manufacturing patents for all kinds of objects using earthenware: in the fields of photography, chemistry, decoration (fireplace tiles, moldings, etc.) as well as lead-free culinary pottery (a great innovation for the time) also used in the medical field... Without forgetting also the production of fine and artistic earthenware pieces and decorated slips (pitchers, cachepots, etc.) as well as flamed stoneware... POSSIBILITY OF SENDING, careful reinforced packaging, registered with signature, insurance and tracking on the internet by its number (fixed shipping costs).
