Bedside cross mounted on a brass base, cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique. Christ is affixed to the cross, flanked at the base by praying cherubs on either side, and a skull and two tibias (referencing a legend that the site of the crucifixion was also Adam's burial place). The piece is in good condition; the cross is at least 18th century and the base 19th century.
