Watercolor "expanse Of Water Under The Trees In Spring" By Antoine Barbier (1859-lyon 1948)

Artist: Antoine Barbier (1859-lyon 1948)
Watercolor of the Lyon region made by Antoine BARBIER, watercolorist and orientalist painter, member of the Société des Beaux Arts de Lyon where he settled after a life of travel and experiences which allowed him to perfect his qualities as a watercolorist appreciated by many amateurs and collectors. In his youth he spent several years in Algeria, then in Turkey with various jobs (manager, teacher, etc.) He was then employed at the court of the Tsar of Bulgaria as an ornamental painter whose classicism of the French style was appreciated by the oriental courts. It was there that he developed his qualities as a watercolorist by also producing, among other things, portraits of the ladies of the Court. The well-framed watercolor is very representative of his way of rendering landscapes and is in good condition. POSSIBILITY OF SENDING, careful reinforced packaging, registered with signature, insurance and tracking on the internet by his number (flat rate shipping costs).
