"Empire Period Mahogany Cylinder Desk"
Empire period cylinder desk in Cuban mahogany. The upper part opens with three drawers and three braided leather pedestals. The cylinder reveals an interior with pilasters with a sliding writing desk in braided leather, small drawers and compartments. Bronze handles with dolphin heads. The lower part opens with three drawers in the belt and two side pulls. The interior mounting and the sinkers are in mahogany. A double baluster spacer connects a base with flat columns ending in claws. Original locks, secret cylinder opening system. Excellent condition. Early 19th century.
